How to set a automatic VPN connection while on startup in Windows PC?
As we know that every vpn connections in Windows PC disconnects frequently after rebooting and sleeping mode on your PC. Sometimes we need a consistent and stable vpn connection in windows PC. In this case ,to use a stable and consistent vpn connection in windows PC we can also set time setting in your windows PC to check the vpn connection state regularly. In this example I am using L2TP vpn connection you can use any type of vpn connections that you prefer to use.We need to apply the below mentioned configurations in your windows PC.
Step 1:- Open Task Scheduler form Search Tab on your windows PC and create task from action tab as in image.
Step 2:- General Tab
After the new popup window opens first name the task name ,in security options select run whether user is logged on or not and tick the below option run with highest privileges and select your device operating system in the configure for tab carefully and jump to triggers tab.
Step 3:- Triggers Tab
In this tab select new and new window opens and select At startup on begin the task,in advance setting set 2 minutes in repeat task every tab and select indefinitely in for a duration of tab and select OK to save it.
Step 4:- Action Tab,
In this tab first select new and new windows opens,on action tab select Start a program and in program/script field paste the command c:\windows\system32\rasdial.exe and in add arguments option you can place your vpn connection name ,username and password correctly respectively as shown in below image and select OK to save.
Step 5:- Conditions Tab,
In this tab deselect all the options and select OK to save them.
